Off-Campus Work Permit Program

The Off-Campus work program allows eligible International students at  participating educational institutions to work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) off-campus during the school year, and full-time during summer and holiday breaks.

This program requires a permit issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and international students must apply for this permit through the educational institution in which they are enrolled.

Internships and Co-op Programs

Some international students require work experience as a part of their post-secondary, and Citizenship and Immigration Canada has a specific program to address this situation.

This program is for students who are already attending an educational facility in Canada and who want to utilize the Off-Campus work rpermit program as it relates to their program, co-op work programs or post-graduation work.
