Bredin Institute
The Bredin Institute offers a number of programs that assist employers in hiring immigrants. Two bridging programs are offered in Pharmacy and Accounting in which internships are provided, and employers can offer to host an internship in their workplace. The Bredin Institute’s Target Employment Program provides employers with clients from a broad range of backgrounds including trade occupations, labour positions, secretarial and administrative positions. Job opportunities can be listed with the Target Employment Program by calling the Bredin Institute. Cross cultural workshops for senior managers and human resource departments are also available, and these workshops help to provide a learning process between management and foreign employees.

Catholic Social Services – Immigration and Settlement Programs
Catholic Social Services (CSS) provides a range of services developed specifically to facilitate the employment of immigrants in the Edmonton region. These services address language, education and enculturation needs to help immigrants adapt to Canadian workplaces. The Intercultural Education Program offers professional development training in the area of intercultural and cross-cultural communication to public and private organizations. This helps employers and employees understand and integrate differences across cultures in the workplace and in interpersonal relationships.

Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers (EMCN)
EMCN connects Edmonton employers with interview ready, highly motivated candidates skilled in a wide variety of occupations including engineering, accounting, information technology and others. ESL training in the workplace is also available, and job developers work closely with employers to determine needs and requirements.

NorQuest College
NorQuest College provides intercultural education in the workplace as a means to increase diversity and integrate people from different cultures. English-as-a-second-language (ESL) training is also available, and can be customized to the language needs of specific workplaces (such as manufacturing, construction or retail environments). Coaching services are available for human resource managers in the process of integrating their workplaces, and NorQuest also provides essential service health care providers with on-site training programs that lead to certification.

Personal Supports and Development Network (PSDN)
PSDN provides Edmonton employers with skilled and unskilled immigrant candidates (landed immigrants who possess a social insurance number). The Employment for Immigrants program provides job placement and support to both clients and employers. Job placement is based strictly on previous experience, which may or may not include Canadian job experience. Clients are unemployed or underemployed, and employers are encouraged to utilize the Government of Alberta Workplace Training program that provides funding for up to 70 per cent of wages paid.
